No More Grumpiness |
|
I’ve come across a lot of angry people in the last 2 days. First of all in the post office. A middle aged business-man and woman had handed over a large number of envelopes (around 80) to the girl at the counter for stamping, and told her how many there were. She said she needed to count them again at the last minute. They went ballistic, making sure the whole room new that it was a ‘verguenza total’ – a total disgrace. I thought they were over-reacting juuuuust a little bit. Then my sister pointed me to a Q and A at the Guardian with ‘No Impact Man‘, a fellow who spent a year trying to live a no-environmental impact life with his wife and kid. Now I know that there will always be trolls on-line, but the amount of vitriol poured out at this well-meaning guy in the comments was incredible! Then there was last my post, about Inception, very grumpy. I apologise, I was over-tired. Can’t cope with going to bed at 1 am and getting up at 7 everyday any more obviously! So while much of the rest of the world continues to grouch, I hope not to let any grumpiness seep though here any more. Here’s to a happy, peaceful blog from now on! Have a great weekend! |
